Mauritania to host literary event

Mauritania will launch a new literary festival in Nouakchott on Monday (December 6th). The French embassy is helping to organise "Literary Days", a 3-day celebration of Francophone prose and poetry. Participating writers include Cheikh Hamidou Kane and Boubacar Boris Diop of Senegal and Rachid Boudjedra of Algeria.magharebia.com
