180 Killed in Stampede at Cambodian Festival

Cambodia’s prime minister says at least 180 people have been killed in a stampede at a festival in the capital, Phnom Penh.

Hundreds more people were injured.

The stampede began on a small island where hundreds had gathered to watch a traditional boat race late Monday.

Authorities estimate more than one million people had flocked to the capital for the annual water festival.
