Spain Remains Atop FIFA World Rankings

World Cup champion Spain remains at the top of FIFA's world football rankings in a month where there were no changes among the top three teams.

Three European teams hold the first three places in the rankings, with Spain followed by the Netherlands and Germany. But Argentina has moved up one spot to number-four to become the best team in South America.

Brazil fell one place to fifth, while England and Uruguay held steady as number six and seven. Croatia moved up one spot to number-eight, switching places with Portugal, which dropped one.

Greece remained unchanged to round out the top-10, while the United States fell one spot to19th place.
